With the time inching closer to our dark winter days-- we're putting up Christmas lights already and it's gonna hit it here in November. I'll be starting my vitamin D intake mid November and they're telling me to continue it until mid March. It is not the first winter that is the hardest for newbies, it is the second winter they say. It is because it's when your "honeymoon" phase wears off. I'm keeping my chin up high on this!
Btw, I dressed up as a Batgirl- however it seemed a bit hard to tell (only a mask that others mistaken for a catwoman!) due to climate-abiding clothing. Hope you had a great Halloween!

love the lights!!! PRETTY! And the costume! I totally thought, "Batgirl!" lol. I wanted to go as Red Riding Hood because I'd get to wear a red peacoat with a hood and black pants and boots... ahem... WARM :) :) but unfortunately the red peacoat I saw in a thrift store was sold by the time I went back to get it :(
ReplyDeleteTHAT pea coat would have been so perfect, well there's always next year?! ;)
DeleteIt snowed in DC on Halloween last year and I think that was the most snow we saw all year!
ReplyDeleteSooo jealous that you're in Alaska. Do you like Into The Wild at all??? It's my all-time favorite book AND movie. My dream is to visit the magic bus in Alaska!! Can I come visit??? ;)
Wow I sure do miss DC (Went to school there for 5 years)
DeleteInto The Wild is awesome! I want to go on a 3 day hike this upcoming winter/spring season to see the magic bus, join me then!
