On our first (not-so-real) snow day, I freaked out because I didn't have studded tires installed yet. One of most dangerous days to drive in Alaska is on our first day of snow. The snow hits the pavement that is oiled up from dirt- it does not mix well and many of drivers are reckless or unskilled (me!) which results into many accidents. I called a shop and they said they could take my car so I had to hurry.
While sending my kids to school- I gathered all stuff on my bed and sat down to put my boots. I heard a loud "POP" and felt something snapped on my arse, I just ignored it and wanted to get the laces done. Then when I looked for my glasses, I realized it was what I sat on! It sucked but hey- at least I can complete one of 23 things? I did not have glasses for about a month or so, it sucked! I did not like squinting while watching the television to read captions, or squinting while reading.
I went online and found this cute frame, decided to go for it- I'm loving it! I'll be sure to place my glasses in a safe place before finding a seat next time. Finally, it's gonna be me and my books before bed all over again!
