23 before 24: Hike up to the top @ Flattop

I knew that I had to give the Flattop a try before becoming a "year-long" resident. It became bothersome as my Anchorage days are being logged into. I see it everyday and it looks even prettier in the winter by the way. It stares at me when I go to bootcamp. It stays behind me whenever I go on a lookout to check out the Denali peak. Most of all, it sits right onto the base of Chugach State Park calling for my hamstrings.

        Flattop in the winter, it's pretty easy to spot it for its name.
